Assignment Policy 

     Students are expected to use their time wisely and finish their assignments in class. However, if daily assignments are not completed in class, they need to take it home and bring it back finished the next day. We will be using a Daily Planner this year. Students will bring it home each day, and a parent signature will be required. In addition, two pieces of homework will be sent home each Friday and they are due the following Tuesday. Late assignments and no name papers will be docked by 10%.
   In addition to homework, I expect the kids to read for at least 20 minutes every day. They also need to study and learn their math facts. They will also get a spelling list on Monday and have a test over the words on Thursday. If they do  not get 100% on Thursday, they can take it again on Friday.
   The students will be having a study hall/ free time every Friday. Students with no missing work, will have 30 minutes of free time. Students with missing work will have that time to finish any work they are missing. Any assignments not returned by Monday, will be recorded as 0's.
